VZ 58 Firing pin 7,62
Code: AD2366Product detailed description
Original VZ 58 firing pin 7.62.
The firing pin is part of the bolt, different for calibers 5.56 and 7.62.
For the firing pin, its length is important.
If you have a problem with fired cartridges, it may be caused by a worn firing pin.
When installing the firing pin into the bolt, make sure there is no metal debris in the firing pin well that would prevent the fuze from moving freely, and apply a light coat of petroleum jelly to the area where the cartridge extractor contacts.
When assembling, make sure that the firing pin is turned so that the flat surface is facing up or down, otherwise the extractor cannot be placed there in the bolt.
If it happens to you that the bolt of the weapon in the front edge of the bolt case does not want to reach over its edge when moving forward, you have a broken or stuck firing pin in the bolt.
The original firing pin are nickel plated.
In the original gunsmith's kit for the Sa vz.58, there is a fuze gauge, after placing it on the overhang of the firing pin from the bolt, you will find out how your firing pin is doing with wear.
